The general reporting election meeting of the Lithuanian Samaritan Society took place in Klaipėda. After listening to and approving the activity reports for 2025, the Samaritans listened with interest to the presentations of the candidates for the LSB presidents. Candidates Gediminas Vasiliauskas and Sonata Patkauskaitė told what work they plan to do during the upcoming term and how they see the organization of the work.
Sonata Patkauskaitė was elected President of the Lithuanian Student Union for a second term by a majority vote .
A new board of the Lithuanian Samaritan Society was also elected. The branches expressed their confidence in Kristina Vančienė (Jurbarkas branch), Vilija Toliušienė (Klaipėda branch), Sonata Stonkute (Kaunas branch), Saulius Mockas (Kelmė branch), Paulius Žiūkas (Kaunas district branch) and Audrius Ramanauskas (Jonava branch).
Congratulations to the Board members. We believe that your sincere work will further strengthen the organization, whose goal is to share kindness with those in need.
But… it’s not appropriate to rush to disperse after arriving at the seaside. That’s why we visited museums, had conversations at the dinner table, and exchanged many kind words and hugs. After all, kindness begins with love for one’s neighbor.
